Andrea Pass To Join Spring Consulting Group, LLC (BOSTON, MA, September 2008 – Spring Consulting Group, LLC, which provides strategic consulting services to insurance, financial services and health care organizations, announced that Andrea Pass has joined team as a consulting actuary. Andrea has over 15 years of experience in financial and statistical calculations. She is involved in supporting all areas of Spring’s practice, including: captive services, life insurance, health care and disability. Andrea will significantly expand Spring’s growing actuarial staff capabilities. Her expertise is in the areas of life and disability insurance. “We are excited to have an industry leader with Andrea’s reputation join our firm,” said Karin Landry, Spring’s managing partner. “Her depth of experience will add greatly to our capabilities.” Prior to joining Spring, Andrea was the president of Southcoast Actuaries, an actuarial consulting firm. She performed analyses in marketing, legal issues and financial projections. She also has worked at AXA Group, a life insurance and annuity provider. Andrea led a team in product pricing, cash flow testing, filing statutory and tax returns and valuation reserving. Andrea earned her B.A. cum laude in mathematics
and physics from Brandeis University. She completed a Ph.D. in applied
mathematics and statistics from the State University of New York at Stony
Brook on a GAANN fellowship. She is a member of the American Academy of
