Artex Promotes Michelle Bittick to Captive Director

Michelle Bittick has been promoted to captive director at Artex Risk Solutions. With 12 years of commercial insurance experience, Ms. Bittick has overseen and managed captive business at Artex since 2012. She possesses expertise in alternative risk programs, loss fund management, and program management with a focus on workers compensation production underwriting for new business.

Based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Ms. Bittick successfully manages two specialty programs, overseeing renewals, new business, broker relations, and insurer relations on behalf of Artex. She has also been instrumental in the launch of various new programs and product launches. Ms. Bittick previously worked as a monoline workers compensation account manager at Izzo Insurance Services, Inc., and, prior to that, as an insurance specialist at State Farm.
