AXA XL Reinsurance To Appoint Claudia Ingenhoven CFO, Reinsurance

AXA XL Reinsurance announced it will appoint Claudia Ingenhoven as chief financial officer (CFO), reinsurance effective February 13.

Ms. Ingenhoven has held a number of executive positions, including CEO of Glacier Reinsurance (Catalina) and CFO of iptiQ EMEA P&C (Swiss RE). She also has spent time working within the AXA group as an executive committee and board member of AXA Liabilities Managers across a wide number of jurisdictions, including France, Germany, Malaysia, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

"With her executive experience, knowledge of the AXA group, global expertise, and financial background, Claudia will be an asset to our business," Nancy Bewlay, AXA XL Reinsurance CEO, said in a statement. "Claudia will work with me as part of the reinsurance leadership team to drive the growth of our business to achieve our goal of sustainable profitability."

Ms. Ingenhoven has extensive experience working within finance functions at a number of (re)insurers and holds a Certificate of Corporate Finance from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, as well as a degree in economics from the Gerhard-Mercator University in Germany.
