"Business Insurance" Announces Speakers for 2023 World Captive Forum

Business Insurance magazine has announced the speakers who will participate in its upcoming 2023 World Captive Forum on February 1–3 at the Doral Hotel & Resort in Miami.
At the first World Captive Forum session on February 1, Jeff Kenneson, president of Davies Captive Management (US); Dan Kusaila, principal at Crowe LLP; and Mike Meehan, a principal at Milliman Inc., will discuss the reasons for captive formations. The session will be moderated by Sandy Bigglestone, deputy commissioner of captive insurance in the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation.
Speakers at a February 2 session at which protected cell, hybrid, and cyber captives will be discussed include Ashley Bauer, executive risk practice leader at Huntington National Bank.; Ross Ellick, attorney at law with Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP; Nate Reznicek, head of US distribution at International Re Miami; and Austin Su, head of structured risk solutions at AXA XL.
At another February 2 session, captive experts Nick Frost, president of Davies Captive Management Ltd.; Keith Nevett, head of business development at Asta UK; Dennis Silva, executive vice president of Captive Management Ltd., and Michael Woodruffe, president of Kirkway International Ltd., will discuss captive fronting arrangements.
At a February 3 session, Michael Arcangel, chief captive analyst at the North Carolina Department of Insurance; Vermont captive regulator Ms. Bigglestone; Steve Kinion, captive insurance director at the Oklahoma Insurance Department; Gerald Gakundi, director of supervision at the Bermuda Monetary Authority; and David Piner, director of the captive program at the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services, will discuss major developments in captive insurance regulations.
