The Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) has announced that Justin Wren, founder and CEO of Fight for the Forgotten, will deliver the keynote address at its 2025 International Conference. The event is set to take place March 9–11 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. Wren, a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter with a transformative personal journey, has dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged communities. Since 2013, his organization has improved lives by providing clean water, housing, healthcare, land ownership, and freedom from slavery to thousands in need.
His keynote, From the Ring to the Rainforest: Leadership Principles from an Ultimate Fighter's Remarkable Journey, will recount his transition from the world of professional fighting to living among the Pygmy people in Africa, overcoming addiction, and finding purpose. Wren's message focuses on resilience, empowerment, and actionable strategies for creating meaningful impact both personally and professionally.
"Justin Wren speaks from a heart of passion and perseverance. His message is inspiring for both a personal and professional mindset," said Leon Rives II, chief visionary officer at RH CPAs, PLLC, the sponsor of Wren's keynote address.
"We look forward to welcoming Justin to our 2025 conference and having him share his authentic and motivating keynote message with our attendees," said CICA President Dan Towle. "His story of resilience is a valuable reminder of the impact each of us makes in our organizations and the industry."
The CICA 2025 International Conference will feature over 30 educational sessions, insights from more than 120 industry experts, essay contest presentations, and networking opportunities.
