Early Bird Deadline Nears for District of Columbia Captive Conference

The deadline for discounted early bird registration for the Captive Insurance Council of the District of Columbia's (CIC-DC) annual conference is Thursday, August 31.

The 2023 CIC-DC conference, set for November 8–9, will be held at the InterContinental Washington, DC—The Wharf. The annual gathering features a substantive educational program combined with multiple dedicated time periods for networking.

Sessions at this year's conference will address such topics as claims verdicts, captive investing, captive taxation, and banking and financial services for captives. A networking luncheon will feature a discussion of the impact of generative artificial intelligence (AI) on the insurance industry. The conference will also include an "ask the regulators" session.
