Hylant Strengthens Hawaii Presence with Pacific Risk Solutions Partnership

In a recent announcement, Hylant unveiled its strategic partnership with Pacific Risk Solutions, LLC, enhancing its footprint with an on-island presence in Hawaii. This move is a pivotal step in Hylant's strategy to enhance its captive insurance capabilities and service offerings in the region.

Pacific Risk Solutions, recognized as the first locally based independent captive management firm in Hawaii, specializes in providing captive management and consulting services across captive domiciles in the western United States and the Pacific Rim. The collaboration signifies a significant milestone for Hylant, aligning with its commitment to strengthening its captive insurance capabilities and expanding its reach in Hawaii.

Founded in Honolulu in March 2005, Pacific Risk Solutions has expanded its client portfolio to cover Hawaii, Montana, Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas in the United States, as well as internationally in Japan, Guam, Philippines, and the Federated States of Micronesia. Notably, Tony Schmidt, the founder of Pacific Risk Solutions, played a pivotal role in drafting captive insurance laws for the latter.
