ICCIE's Latest Updates: 20 Years of Captive Insurance Education
February 13, 2024
In a milestone year for the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE), the organization is set to mark its 20th anniversary with a celebration. The event is scheduled to coincide with the opening reception at the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) conference on Monday, August 12.
Sponsors for the event include Lippa Insurance, Hylant, CICA, GPW, Pro Group, and A.M. Best.
ICCIE encourages interested individuals to visit the dedicated Anniversary Celebration page on the ICCIE website periodically.
General ICCIE Updates
At the recent World Captive Forum in Orlando, Business Insurance Publisher Keith Kenner presented ICCIE Executive Director Mitch Cantor with a commemorative award recognizing ICCIE's 20th anniversary.
Rob Leadbetter from USA Risk Group Cayman won the 2024 All Captive Conference Ticket raffle. The winning ticket was drawn in mid-December, granting Rob (or his assignee) free admission to any of the 17 participating captive insurance and risk management conferences in 2024. Details for next year's raffle will be announced in early summer.
ICCIE has entered into a strategic partnership with the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI). SCI will offer ICCIE's Certificate in Captive Insurance (CCI) to its students, expanding ICCIE's reach into the Far East.
ICCIE has also introduced new digital badges for graduates of its Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) and CCI programs. Graduates are encouraged to use these badges in their email signatures, on company stationery, or wherever they see fit. ICCIE is actively distributing these badges to recent graduates and encourages those who may have been missed to reach out for their digital badges at [email protected].
Congratulations to all of the recent ACI and CCI graduates.
