The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has elected its 2025 Executive Committee, unveiling the team during its Annual General Meeting in George Town, Grand Cayman. The committee, which integrates fresh and returning leadership, will steer IMAC's initiatives in the year ahead.

The newly appointed chairs include the following.

  • Michael Wild, forum committee chair
  • Gareth van den Bergh, marketing committee chair
  • Jessica Powell, scholarship committee chair
  • Andrew MacKay, education and social committee chair

Several executives will continue serving for a second term.

  • Kieran Mehigan, IMAC chair
  • James Trundle, vice chair
  • Erin Brosnihan, secretary
  • Paul Macey, legislative and regulatory lead
  • Jenny Pooley, IMAC office

Mr. Mehigan said, "I am excited for all we have planned for 2025. IMAC remains committed to fostering strong collaboration with stakeholders across Cayman's financial services industry, while continuing to represent and grow our industry locally and internationally."

Since its founding in 1994, IMAC has been a key advocate for insurance managers, captive insurance companies, and service providers in the Cayman Islands. Acting as a liaison between industry stakeholders, government, and regulators, IMAC emphasizes innovation and growth to ensure the Cayman Islands remain a premier domicile for captive insurance globally.
