Industry Veteran Paul Gatutha Joins SRS Bermuda as Director

Independent insurance company manager Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has announced that Paul Gatutha has joined SRS Bermuda as a director in its Hamilton office.

SRS said Mr. Gatutha will be a key member of the Bermuda leadership team and will be responsible for a broad portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients.

"I have known Paul for nearly 20 years and am delighted to have him join our growing team," Jonathan Reiss, chairman of SRS Bermuda, said in a statement. "Paul is a recognized leader in the insurance management sector who brings to SRS deep expertise across captives and commercial insurance and reinsurance ventures as well as across both the life and property & casualty industries. His knowledge and client-first mentality will fit in well at SRS."

Mr. Gatutha has more than 20 years of experience in insurance management. Before joining SRS, he served as a senior vice president of Marsh Management Services. Mr. Gatutha is a chartered accountant and has previously held both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designations.

SRS said it continues to see strong growth of captive insurance companies and increasing insurance management demand from innovative commercial insurance and reinsurance ventures.
