Jose Martinez Joins Augment Risk To Lead Retrospective Solutions

Augment Risk has announced the appointment of Jose Martinez as partner to head its retrospective solutions division. Mr. Martinez brings over 15 years of experience in the reinsurance and risk management industries, with a career spanning several prominent organizations.

Most recently at Swiss Re, Mr. Martinez held senior roles as vice president of legacy solutions and senior commutations expert, focusing on initiatives in legacy and reinsurance solutions. Prior to that, he served as director of umbrella claims at Safety National, where he oversaw claims operations.

Mr. Martinez also spent nearly a decade at CNA Insurance, where he held key leadership positions, including director of corporate reinsurance complex claims and claims manager. Earlier in his career, he served as accounting manager at Aon, where he developed expertise in financial reporting and operational management.
