The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has announced the keynote speakers for the 2024 Cayman Captive Forum, taking place December 3–5 at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
Anthony Robles, a three-time All-American wrestler, National Collegiate Athletic Association Wrestling Champion, and National Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee, will deliver the opening keynote. Despite being born with one leg, Mr. Robles has excelled in his sport, becoming a symbol of courage and perseverance. He has earned numerous wrestling titles and is a member of several halls of fame, including the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Mr. Robles is the subject of the upcoming film Unstoppable, produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's company, and currently serves as a wrestling analyst for ESPN and Pac-12 Network. His keynote will emphasize the values of hard work and self-belief.
The cyber keynote will be presented by Jon Engstrom, a certified ethical hacker and 20-year veteran of a major US metropolitan police department. Mr. Engstrom has led his agency's Criminal Intelligence and Cyber-Crime Section and overseen threat assessment and incident response for the region's Real-Time Crime Center. With experience as a federal task-force officer, Mr. Engstrom will address recent trends in online fraud, computer intrusion, and emerging cyber threats.
"We're very excited about this year's keynote offerings," said Alanna Trundle, chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee. "Both Mr. Robles and Mr. Engstrom have fascinating messages to share with attendees. We look forward to welcoming them both in December."
