Management Services International (MSI) continues to expand with captive insurance and alternative risk management expertise, adding two experienced professionals to its team: Sam Jones, director of finance, and Courtney Boles, program manager.
Sam Jones joined MSI as finance director in October 2024, bringing over 38 years of expertise in insurance accounting, including GAAP and statutory reporting. His previous roles span high-profile organizations such as AIG Captive Management, SS&C Technologies, Capital City Insurance, Allstate, Walton Risk Services, and the Illinois Insurance Exchange. Known for his direct involvement with clients, corporate senior management, rating agencies, and regulators, Mr. Jones has led financial presentations and managed reporting with a focus on accuracy and compliance. At MSI, he will oversee daily client financial operations, reinsurance accounting, and regulatory filings.
Courtney Boles joins MSI as program manager, a new role designed to leverage her extensive experience in alternative risk management. With a career rooted in the insurance sector, she has advised hundreds of businesses on identifying risks and evaluating tailored management solutions. Her work includes forming insurance companies across 15 domiciles with structures like single-parent, cell, series, and agency captives. A licensed property and casualty agent and a holder of the Associate in Captive Insurance designation from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education, Boles brings valuable insight into captive insurance strategies.
"Captive insurance is a strategy for those who want to be able to react quickly, tailor specifically, and think creatively," Ms. Boles said. "I'm excited to be at a company in MSI that embodies that nimble and personalized mindset where we can keep pace with businesses that are succeeding."
