Registration Open for FERMA's 2023 Risk Management Seminar
March 23, 2023
Registration is open for the Federation of European Risk Management Association's (FERMA) 2023 Seminar October 16–17 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The FERMA Seminar is an educational event organized by European risk managers for European risk managers. The seminar is limited to 250 participants to provide an optimal setting for the exchange of experiences among participants.
The theme of this year's seminar is "The Road Map to Strategic Risk Management." Seminar workshops will address challenges and opportunities for risk managers across the topics of governance, processes, and infrastructure and give practical examples to help them to develop a road map to strategic risk management.
The FERMA Seminar is designed for chief risk officers as well as professionals in a solely risk and insurance management function.
Those participating in the seminar will leave with an improved understanding of several areas, according to FERMA.
- Developing a road map to implement strategic risk management
- The risk management angle to recent crises
- Building risk management expertise to meet C-suite and board expectations
- Enterprise risk management (ERM) techniques
- Using business continuity management to mitigate impacts of risks on performance
In addition, this year's FERMA seminar participants will benefit from an individual risk management-maturity assessment. Participants will receive a link to a questionnaire and, based on their responses, will get a tailored and confidential benchmarking report before the seminar. Overall results will be presented in a plenary session, allowing participants to benchmark their company's level of ERM maturity. For more information or to register for the 2023 seminar, visit FERMA's website.
