The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has announced a historic fundraising achievement, collecting nearly $60,000 during its 20th anniversary reception at the 39th Annual Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) Conference in Burlington, Vermont. This figure significantly surpasses the usual $10,000 raised at previous receptions, marking a 500 percent increase.

"Due to the milestone of our 20th anniversary and the high visibility of the VCIA conference, we netted 500 percent more fundraising this year," said Mitch Cantor, ICCIE's executive director.

The funds will support the development of ICCIE's educational programs, which are increasingly in demand as the captive insurance industry grows and more professionals seek career-development opportunities.

VCIA CEO Kevin Mead congratulated ICCIE on the milestone, emphasizing the importance of supporting its success. "We, like most captive trade associations, are invested in the success and sustainability of ICCIE. I am personally thrilled for ICCIE, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in close partnership."

In addition, ICCIE is bringing back its "All Captive Conference Ticket Raffle," in which VCIA is participating. More details can be found on the ICCIE website. Contact Executive Director Mitch Cantor for more information.
