The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has launched a rebrand that includes a new logo, an updated tagline, and an updated website designed to serve as a hub for captive insurance professionals. According to the association, these updates aim to reinforce its role as a leader in the captive insurance industry and a champion of Vermont's strong captive market.

VCIA's new tagline, "Captive Excellence Starts Here," underscores the organization's commitment to fostering an inclusive, member-driven environment for professional development and networking in the captive insurance space. The updated logo reflects an innovative and forward-thinking approach, mirroring the evolution of the industry, the association said.

Central to the rebranding is VCIA's website, which provides valuable resources for its members and the broader industry. Key features of the website include the following.

  • A captive media library offering insights on industry trends and emerging risks

  • Captives 101, which provides educational materials to simplify captive insurance concepts for newcomers
  • An interactive directory of service providers and industry partners
  • An artificial-intelligence-driven knowledge assistant, set to launch later this year, to support professionals in their efforts to learn and innovate

"Our new digital platform represents a significant investment in our members' success," VCIA CEO Kevin Mead said. "By providing cutting-edge tools and resources, we're ensuring that Vermont remains at the forefront of captive insurance excellence."

VCIA Board Chair Gail Newman said, "This brand and website launch is a sign of things to come. More innovative and relevant strategic initiatives are planned for 2025, providing substantial value, insight, and support for organizations to enhance their day-to-day captive operations."

The rebrand coincides with VCIA's 40th anniversary, which the organization says serves as both a celebration of its history and a launchpad for its future.
