WRCIC Board Donates to ICCIE during 20th Anniversary Celebration
August 27, 2024
The Western Region Captive Insurance Conference (WRCIC) board presented a significant donation to the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) during its 20th anniversary celebration in Burlington, Vermont. The donation was made at the Vermont Captive Insurance Association's annual conference.
WRCIC board members Renea Louie and Heather McClure delivered the contribution to Mitch Cantor, executive director of ICCIE, on behalf of the WRCIC 2024 conference attendees and board members. This donation continues WRCIC's long-standing commitment to supporting captive insurance education, with contributions over the years surpassing $10,000.
"ICCIE is incredibly grateful for the consistent and continued support from WRCIC. The western region domiciles understand that the captive industry can only grow and thrive when there is comprehensive education available to new entrants to the industry and continuing education for captive veterans," said Mitch Cantor, executive director, ICCIE. "This is how ICCIE supports the industry, and that is why it is vital that the industry continues to support ICCIE! It's a terrific synergistic relationship."
The WRCIC represents four member groups: the Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Utah captive insurance associations. These associations jointly host the annual conference, which rotates among the member states.
The WRCIC has also announced that the 2025 conference will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, from May 19–21, at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek. For additional details, visit the WRCIC website.
