Derick White is managing director of corporate governance and regulation for SRS. He has 30 years of insurance experience from the auditing, regulatory, and management sides. Prior to joining SRS in 2008, Mr. White was the director of captive insurance for the State of Vermont from 1992 to 2008. He was responsible for the administration and regulation of captive insurance companies in this role, and during his tenure, he reviewed over 550 captive formations, including nearly 100 risk retention group applications for licensure by the department.
