Cassie Bachman Joins Arsenal as Director of Legal Affairs

Cassie Bachman has joined captive insurance manager Arsenal as director of legal affairs. In her new role, Ms. Bachman will serve as internal legal counsel for Arsenal and its subsidiaries and ensure the regulatory compliance of all the alternative risk transfer vehicles Arsenal manages.
Before joining Arsenal, Ms. Bachman was managing director of compliance for an independent captive manager after working in the legal sector for more than 8 years.
She has extensive experience assisting Fortune 500 companies with compliance issues surrounding US integration of international executives and key employees.
During her time in the alternative risk sector, Ms. Bachman played a pivotal role in several compliance matters and notable captive insurance cases, including the IRS v. Delaware DOI case and the IRS amicus brief. She served as judicial intern for the chief justice in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and volunteered as a licensed legal intern for the Norman Juvenile Drug Court and the University of Oklahoma Legal Clinic.

Ms. Bachman received a political science and history graduate degree from Oklahoma State University, a juris doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, an Associate in Captive Insurance designation from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education, and a Certified Insurance Service Representative designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
