Final Call for VCIA 2025 Topic Submissions—Due by October 11

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) is now accepting topic submissions for its 40th Anniversary Conference, set to take place August 11–13, 2025, in Burlington, Vermont. Captive insurance professionals are invited to submit multiple proposals for educational sessions via this survey link by the end of the day on Friday, October 11.

Considered a premier educational event for the captive insurance industry, the VCIA conference is seeking proposals that address current challenges within the captive sector and provide actionable insights. Proposed topics should include real-world case studies and personal experiences from captive owners.

Suggested areas for submission include the following.

• Topics for established captives, such as reinsurance strategies and advanced operational steps
• Content for young professionals and those new to captive insurance
• Advanced sessions on specific coverages, including medical stop loss, cyber, and property
• Industry-specific sessions targeting various captive structures beyond traditional pure captives
• Emerging technologies in the insurance sector that will shape the future of risk management
• Professional development subjects relevant to the captive insurance workforce
