Kathryn Anderson Joins SRS as Director with European Consulting Team

Kathryn Anderson has been appointed director in Strategic Risk Solutions' (SRS) European Consulting Practice. She will join SRS in October.

Ms. Anderson will report to Derek Bridgeman, managing director and European Risk Consulting Practice Leader at SRS. She will be based in the United Kingdom.

"Having worked alongside her at Marsh, I saw first-hand Kathryn's ability to understand a client's objectives at all times and, through an analytically-driven feasibility process, provide them with risk financing solutions tailored to their risk profile.

"The current insurance environment demands a more sophisticated approach to insurance so the expectation from our clients and prospects for enhanced consulting support is stronger than ever," Mr. Bridgeman said. Ms. Anderson joins SRS after 24 years with Marsh UK. For the last 8 years, she worked in Marsh's Captive Advisory Practice, consulting with global clients across many industries about how captive insurance companies and other formalized risk retention structures can add value to the business. Those clients included businesses looking to establish a new structure as well as companies wanting to ensure that they were deriving maximum value from an existing vehicle.

From 2000 to 2019, Ms. Anderson worked within the Marsh Business Analytics team, using statistical methods to summarize, interpret, and forecast data. In addition, she combined financial modeling techniques with her business and insurance knowledge to produce optimal risk strategies for a wide range of clients.
