Marsh McLennan Finalizes Acquisition of McGriff Insurance Services

Marsh McLennan has finalized its acquisition of McGriff Insurance Services, LLC. With this transaction, McGriff's more than 3,500 employees will transition to Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), operating from their existing office locations.

The deal, valued at $7.75 billion, is expected to enhance Marsh McLennan's capabilities across commercial property and casualty, employee benefits, management liability, and personal lines. McGriff is one of the largest providers of insurance broking and risk management services in the United States, having reported $1.3 billion in revenue for the 12 months ending June 30, 2024.
