New ICCIE Courses Begin in January, February, and Beyond

The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) is offering 10 new courses starting in January, February, March, and April 2025.

Also, don't miss the hot-topic webinar being broadcast live from the 2024 Cayman Captive Forum, "Insurance Provisions—Considerations When Selecting Your Recorded Reserve," which explores critical factors to consider when selecting recorded reserves. The webinar takes place on December 3, 2024, and the registration deadline is December 2, 2024.

The ICCIE elective course, Captive Board Governance, starts on December 5, 2024. It features three weekly Web conferences and includes an office hour scheduled for December 19. Interested participants should sign up by November 27, 2024.

The ICCIE core course, Understanding Risk and Risk Retention Mechanisms, begins on January 7, 2025. This course spans five weekly Web conferences. Prospective students should complete registration by December 31, 2024.

The ICCIE core course, An Introduction to Alternative Risk Financing Mechanisms, starts on January 8, 2025. This program consists of four weekly Web conferences. The registration deadline is January 2, 2025.

The ICCIE core course, Business Ethics in the Captive Insurance Industry, will commence on February 11, 2025. It includes three weekly Web conferences. Registration closes on February 4, 2025.

The ICCIE elective course, Accounting for Captives: Financial Reporting and Analysis, starts February 13, 2025. It consists of three weekly Web conferences and an office hour (date TBD). Those that are interested should register by February 6, 2025.

The ICCIE core course, Forming and Operating a Captive, will begin on March 18, 2025. It involves six weekly Web conferences. Registration closes on March 11, 2025.

The ICCIE core course, Reinsurance and Other Risk Transfer Mechanisms, starts on March 19, 2025. The program includes three weekly Web conferences. Students need to register by March 12, 2025.

The ICCIE elective course, Healthcare Captives Overview, will begin on March 20, 2025. It features three weekly Web conferences and an office hour on April 10. Registration is required by March 13, 2025.

The ICCIE core course, Predicting Risk and an Introduction to Actuarial Science, starts on May 7, 2025. The course will consist of three weekly Web conferences. Interested students should register by April 30, 2025.

The ICCIE elective course, Captive Claims Management Best Practices and Reinsurance, begins May 15, 2025. It includes three weekly Web conferences and an office hour scheduled for June 5. Registration ends on May 8, 2025.
