The North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) has introduced a refreshed visual identity, marking a new phase in the association's development as it enters its second decade.

NCCIA chair Ron Adams said the decision to modernize the association's branding coincides with the organization's recent 10th anniversary and leadership changes following the retirement of long-time president and CEO Tom Adams. "We have entered our second decade prepared to build on the success of our first 10 ten years. With a new blueprint providing strategic direction and new staff leadership due to Tom Adams' retirement, the time was right to refresh our visible identity," Adams said.

The updated logo emphasizes the association's full name alongside the full state name, reinforcing NCCIA's role in representing the North Carolina captive insurance sector. The association's leadership sought a modern, progressive appearance that aligns with the continued growth of the North Carolina domicile.

The design includes a shift to a dark blue primary color, replacing black, while retaining the existing yellow-gold accent color. The Montserrat typeface was selected for its clarity and contemporary style. The refreshed branding is now present across all NCCIA communication platforms.
