Industry Mourns Passing of Janet Grace, Connecticut Captive Regulator
Janet Grace, the top captive insurance regulator for the Connecticut Insurance Department, died last week after a long illness. Ms. Grace, who oversaw Connecticut's captive insurance unit since 2016, died after a 6-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was well known and highly respected in the captive field. Luis Delgado has joined Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) to lead the firm's Latin American initiative as vice president-Latin America. Mr. Delgado, a certfied public accountant and native Colombian, will be based in SRS's Bermuda office but with responsibility for developing and managing business for Latin American-owned captives across the firm. Xavier Veyry Named CEO of AXA XL's Asia and Europe Business
AXA XL has appointed Xavier Veyry as CEO of its Asia and Europe business. In the role, Mr. Veyry will join AXA XL's newly configured leadership team, reporting to CEO Scott Gunter. Mr. Veyry is currently country CEO of AXA China and chairman of AXA Tianping in China and AXA General Insurance in Korea. Read More

Michael Corbett Rejoins Tennessee Captive Insurance Association Board
Michael Corbett, senior vice president at Pinnacle Financial Partners, has rejoined the board of the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association (TCIA). Mr. Corbett, a founding board member of the TCIA, left the board in 2011 when he became director of the Captive Section in the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. Read More
