USA Risk Group Promotes Cindy Lyford

Captive manager USA Risk Group (USARG) has promoted Cindy Lyford to senior vice president. Ms. Lyford previously served in the role of vice president and currently serves as office head for the firm's Vermont and Western domiciled captive insurance business.

July marks her 18th year with the group, which said Ms. Lyford's promotion "reflects her integral role as part of the leadership of USA Risk Group." She previously worked as treasurer with Champlain Casualty Co. of Vermont.

"Cindy's knowledge of the Vermont and Western domiciled captives and the relationships she's developed with clients have served USA Risk Group well since she took over the office head role. We want to recognize her contribution to the USA Risk Group business," said Paul Macey, head of captive operations, USARG.

Ms. Lyford has been in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. She holds an associate's degree in accounting, as well as the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance and Associate in Captive Insurance designations. She is a member of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association Legislative Committee and past member of the Conference Committee.
